• Do Carbon Emissions Reduce a Firm's Value?

  April 28, 2011

  This research paper examines the correlation between a firm's value and its carbon footprint. The authors conclude that, on average, for every additional thousand metric tons of carbon emissions for our sample of S&P 500 firms, firm value decreases by $202,000.
